In our latest series of Famous People, we mentioned the Czech singer Karel Gott. We also revealed that the next Czech Nightingale Award Show would be in December. Today, we can share with you the results of this popular Czech show, where Czech viewers cast their voices; thus, making this show sligthly comparable to the American TV show called American Idol.

As we predicted, Karel Gott again won the first prize. Second and third places in the male singer category have been filled by Petr Kolar and Daniel Landa, respectively. Top three female singers were: Lucie Bila, Lucie Vondrackova, and Ewa Farna. The best three bands were Kabat, Chinaski, and Divokej Bill that recently performed in England (visit our current events list for concerts, film festivals, art exhibits, meetups and other events abroad).

Karel Gott is truly the biggest Czech star. Not only is he popular today, but he was also popular during the communist regime. This means that several generations of Czechs became his fans during his long-time career.

V našem nejnovějším cyklu slavných osobností jsme se zmiňovali o českém zpěvákovi Karlu Gottovi. Také jsme vám oznámili, že příští český slavík bude v prosinci. Dnes se s vámi můžeme podělit o výsledky tohoto populárního českého show, kde čeští diváci hlasují pro vítěze, což by trochu mohlo být porovnáno s Americkou televizní show zvanou American Idol.

Jak jsme již předpovídali, Karel Gott opět vyhrál první cenu. Druhé a třetí místa v kategorii mužských zpěváků byla obsazena Petrem Kolářem a Danielem Landou. Nejlepší tři zpěvačky byly: Lucie Bílá, Lucie Vondráčková a Ewa Farná. Ceny nejlepších kapel si odnesli Kabát, Chinaski a Divokej Bill, který v nedávné době koncertoval v Anglii (navštivte náš seznam aktuální akcí pro informace o koncertech, filmových festivalech, uměleckých výstavách, meetupech a jiných akcích v zahraničí).

Karel Gott je skutečně největší českou hvězdou. Je stále populární v dnešní době, ale také byl velmi populární během komunistického režimu. To znamená, že několik českých generací se stalo jeho fanoušky během jeho dlouholeté kariéry.
