New Year’s fireworks in Prague were in a theme of the number nine this time. Fireworks, named Nine Images, lasted exactly 999 seconds in a form of nine countries from four continents: France, Italy, Japan, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Spain and Portugal. The whole program consisted of a 19-seconds-long prelude, nine images - each 99 seconds long, and an 89-second-long finale representing the Czech Republic to remind everybody that the Czech Republic is taking over the Presidency of the European Union.

Novoroční ohňostroj v Praze byl tentokrát ve znamení devítek. Ohňostroj pod jmémem Devět obrazů trval přesně 999 sekund a měl podobu devíti zemí čtyř kontinentů: Francie, Itálie, Japonsko, Jihoafrická republika, Kanada, Mexiko, Německo, Španělsko a Portugalsko. Celý program byl složen z 19-sekundového preludia, devíti obrazů - každý byl 99 sekund dlouhý a 89-sekundového finále v českém duchu, připomínající, že Česká republika převzala předsednictví Evropské unie.
